Well, my friends it's time to say fairwell to the 2009-2010 snowmobile season. Trails disentigrated to mud and ground in most areas this weekend. We had a whole lot of sunshine and temps up in the 40's. The piles are melting down to dirty clumps of snow-cone ice and more warm weather is expected this week. We may see some rain midweek and that will help lake levels once the ice is gone. Right now most locals are still out fishing the lakes, although that will change once night-time temps remain above freezing. If you're considering a trip out on any frozen water be sure to check with authorities first. We need you around for next snowmobile season! Thanks again to all you loyal readers who tune in to the report. We pass on all your feedback to the groomers and it really boosts their morale. A big thanks also goes out to all our volunteers behind the scenes who are the unsung heros.  From our many volunteer drivers to our groomer-to-base radio operator who sits watch during the night to our club president who works with the DNR on our grant all season long.  THANK YOU!
