As of this time we are not grooming the trails, however if temperatures drop below freezing and we get more snowfall they are ready to head back out again. Chances are that we haven’t seen the last of winter yet and we do usually get a snowstorm around St. Paddy’s Day. Our trails do remain open until the end of March, but at this time the majority of our trails are no longer rideable. Monday and Tuesday have seen temps as high as 57 and we have rain in the forecast. Keep your fingers crossed that Mother Nature will send us back into winter…it could happen… We had 2 feet of snow for Mother’s Day one year!
Any time you visit, please consider using those businesses that advertise on this page as they support snowmobiling.
That’s all for now, for updated trail conditions throughout the week or for additional information on our area we invite you to visit the only official website of The Lake Gogebic Area Chamber of Commerce at www.LakeGogebicArea.com or call us at 1-888-Gogebic. From all of us here at Lake Gogebic we’d like to wish you a great day as well as a great ride!
